American Manufacturing Is About More Than Just Jobs
Bringing back American manufacturing is critical to American society in more ways than just economic ones. In order for America to succeed it needs the ability to make things, not only for the stability and good jobs it provides, but for national security as well.

Unhinged Liberals: It's Because Their Day in the Park Was Denied, That's Why

I don't disagree with liberals because they are liberals. I disagree with liberals because what they say often doesn't make any sense. They simply rarely think things through. They speak off the cuff and from an angry and unhinged perspective.

I made the comparison in a recent political forum I was participating in that liberals are often much like a child who was told they could go to the park only to suddenly be denied their day in the park. To a child, this can't simply be moved on from. It's the worst thing that could possibly happen and without their day in the park, the world is effectively over.

Liberals are largely reactionary personalities. Rather than sit back and consider things thoughtfully and try to find any positives in what they perceive as negatives, they lash out. Their minds are wholly fettered by the infuriation of not getting their way.

And don't you dare disagree with them or try to dissect and disassemble their bumper sticker talking points. They may even seek to literally destroy you.

It sounds like an insult when I say liberals lack common sense. But it's true. You can see this clearly when someone on their side suddenly changes course and begins to think about things in a rational way. Take Bill Maher. A stalwart champion of the left. He's seen now as a bit of a traitor.

"He's lost his mind," some might say on the left. Why? Because he began to see through all of the craziness that has really gone off the deep end on the left, and he has been strongly outspoken about many aspects of the LGBTQ+ movement, particularly on gender identity issues.

What happened to Bill Maher, dare I say it, is that he suddenly was making sense, and this is an absolute no-no when it comes to lefty thinking (if you can call it thinking). You're not supposed to think about anything, or God forbid, consider the consequences of things. You're just supposed to sink both feet firmly in the sand and stay the course no matter what. And sing the praises. And try to force others to see sense out of things that make no sense. And, of course, belittle and undermine anyone who tries to make sense out of senseless things that make no sense.

I even sound like a crazy man trying to make sense of liberal thinking. It's like being forever stuck on a carousel in the park. You're dizzy as hell and some deranged kid won't stop spinning it and the only way off the ride is to let go of the handle and allow yourself to be whizzed through the air and hope wherever you land, you don't land on your head.

Robert DeNiro has of course been making headlines saying absolutely crazy things about Donald Trump. He's all in on the idea of Trump being another Hitler or Mussolini. It's crazy talk. He says Trump is a sick narcissist who has no business anywhere near the White House.

But what makes him think so? What about Trump's four years in office lead him to logically conclude this?

Only that Robert DeNiro is being denied his day in the park. He wants what he wants, and he doesn't care what it means to anyone else if he gets it. It is, for lack of a better word, a tantrum. It's what all liberals are engaged in now. A tantrum.

They aren't thinking about the inflation or what may have caused it. They aren't considering the devastating and disastrous pullout of Afghanistan. They aren't thinking about the consequences of an open border. They aren't concerned about the impact of inflation on poor families. They aren't even remotely interested in knowing what really happened in 2020.

They just want their win. They just want their way. It's all that matters. Any judgement is completely banned from their minds. Any logical thought is barred.

As Bill Maher put it on his change of opinion, he has expressed his opinion didn't change. The opinion of his side changed. It is to suggest that there was a time, and even I would admit this, when the two sides of the aisle were different on a variety of issues, but also the same on many of them. We have always disagreed. But not to the extent that we disagree now.

Dare I say this as well? There was a time when the left actually had more common sense than they do now.

The thing that I don't understand is how we got here? How have we gone this far to the crazy side? Because it happened super-fast. I mean it's been a complete 180 degree turn in hyper-quick fashion. It's to the point where you really have to question, did someone just open all the doors to the asylums and let everyone out?

Even the deep hatred toward Trump that the left feels. Where is it coming from? Why is it so penetrating? Is it that Trump truly poses a grave threat to our Republic? Or is it something else? Something in the water? Was there something in that jab?

Liberals have always been a little crazy. But never like now. It's never been nearly this crazy that it would make sense to even a liberal that men should be allowed to compete in women's sports, or that we should do away with natural, common sense pronouns to describe genders. Or that we could see a completely and utter failure of a presidency and decide, "I think I will vote for more of that."

TDS and the Redefinition of Words—A Losing Battle

How does one even respond to victims of Trump Derangement Syndrome anymore? They are completely unhinged, uninterested in truth, bereft of any concept of reality, and they are simply never going to be cured.

And I swear, if I hear the word cult one more time, I am literally going to heave up an internal organ.

It brings me to the idea of words in and of themselves, and how the liberals especially have simply rewritten numerous portions of the dictionary's definitions of them. Real definitions don't matter anymore. Why should they? Because truth doesn't matter anymore either.

If you simply believe something, it must be true, right?

I mean, think about it. We have to ask the question, "What is the definition of a woman?" with a straight face. And on top of that, we're supposed to accept the answer that, "Well, it depends," with an equally straight face.

They have redefined what a woman is for Heaven's sake, and they believe their truth is the truth independent of what we all know the truth actually is. Reality is whatever make-believe they want it to be, and when you take that into account, you can see right through their "truth," and how they get there.

Take the Russia Collusion hoax. In their eyes it is true no matter what. Because they said so. Because even though the dossier was fake, and provably so, that doesn't matter. The story was told, they sucked it all in, they believed it, and no reality can ever make it untrue now.

The story is the story and the conclusion that it never happened doesn't matter.

They use words like evidence as though simply uttering the word makes any accusation now a proven thing. They've redefined evidence to mean, "It means whatever we say is considered evidence." They don't say examine the facts. They simply say, "Look at the evidence."

But what is the evidence? Simply things they say it is. Not proven. But interpreted.

It is even the misconstruing of the power of words like impeachment and indictment, as though the mere act of doing them make it immediately clear that bad things happened to cause them. We go back to evidence as defined by those who brought it forth as being the gospel.

What evidence of impeachable things? The evidence they say it is. What evidence that merited an indictment? The evidence they say it is. Even if none of the "evidence" is evidence of anything other than what they believe it is.

Part of the problem we have here is a dishonest media whom we can no longer trust to report the truth, or even to examine it in any real way. The media is involved in the redefinition of words and in the dissemination of whatever their truth happens to want to be.

We'll have an argument with a TDS sufferer about what happened on January 6th, and they will respond with, "Look at all the evidence presented during the J6 hearings." With one huge problem being horribly overlooked.

The J6 committee was biased. It was a panel of Trump dissenters, haters and anyone who may have posed a different line of questioning was barred from serving on it.

Does that matter to anyone against Trump? Does it matter to the media? Does that truth of what made up that committee matter?

No. Only the evidence presented, true or false matters. And of course, they only could have presented the truth despite their bias—which wasn't classified as bias either. Because, you know, words don't mean what they mean anymore.

These were not biased people after all. Their bias was redefined as patriotism. And because this committee was made up of patriotic elected officials, well then, anything they said happened must have happened, because of course you rarely trust a politician unless that politician serves to prove your truth to be true.

What would have happened if they could have put Jim Jordan on that committee and what kinds of questions may he have asked of Nancy Pelosi and her own actions on January 6th had he been there? Or her for that matter? And why would his questions be considered biased if the others' on the committee weren't?

How much more convincing perhaps the seriousness of the committee could have been taken if the panel was made up of people on both sides of the question?

But you can't explain that to someone suffering TDS. Because it doesn't make sense to them. Because it doesn't follow their narrative. There is only one answer for them, and you don't need to ask questions about it to get to it. You simply need to ask questions that confirm the truth as they see it. That confirms the evidence as they define it.

The ones who support Trump are considered to be a cult. But why aren't the ones who don't support Trump also considered one? If the idea is that the "cult" will simply go along with whatever they think is the truth about Trump, why is the other side also not a cult for the same reason?

Because the word cult has also been redefined. And it's just another way of using a different word to describe a Trump supporter because the old ones aren't fresh anymore and don't work as well. Like racist.

No matter what there is no question in the minds of these TDS sufferers that Trump is a criminal. That he is evil. That he wants to be a dictator. That he incited an insurrection and tried to overthrow the government. That he is a danger to the country and to the world. That he is determined to destroy democracy.

I am not even saying we need to change their minds about that. I am simply saying, as I have always said, let's make sure we ask the right questions. Let's make sure we use words correctly and let's examine everything with a clear head and with honesty.

When I talk to most Trump supporters the thing I come away with from those exchanges is that they are examining the evidence with far more scrutiny and thought than anyone suffering TDS is. They are stepping back from everything and giving each detail careful consideration. By contrast, when I talk to Trump haters, they simply spout off the narrative with no question in their mind whether or not it happens to be true.

He's guilty. That's it. No ifs ands or buts because they said he is. Period. End of story. No need for further explanation. It's cut and dry and the case is sealed, signed and delivered.

Murphy Brown Cancellation

Free Shipping + 3 Free Gifts

SHOULD IT BE ANY WONDER that CBS is pulling the plug on the recent Murphy Brown reboot?

Look, the one thing that the liberals just aren't fully grasping is that despite their ill feelings, and their own misguided Trump Derangement Syndrome, President Trump is a far more popular president than anyone on the left will ever be able to come to terms with.

It's just a fact.

And despite what CBS is claiming, that the show was only ever intended to be a 13 episode run, the truth of the matter is that the show was so over the top with Trump bashing that it just turned audiences completely off.

CBS is not unlike any other network. It's aim is to put out shows and other programming that people will want to watch, and that advertisers will want to shell out their dollars to pay for. It's all about money and ratings. And if Murphy Brown would have captured an audience greater than it did the show would not be getting yanked off the air. It would be getting renewed.

I said it a long time ago that one thing Hollywood and all of the so-called holier than thou elites and superiorists are failing to see is that their uber liberalism is more and more going to start hitting their bottom lines.

You've already seen it with the fall of the NFL, and the near abysmal ratings of all of the other liberal media outlets like MSNBC and CNN.

People are just simply tuning out.

They are tired of the unfair attacks, and the completely biased approach to programming. It (liberalism) is simply not resonating with the American people, and Hollywood and the democrats are doing more damage to their brand than they could ever imagine.

Keep in mind, though, that they (the liberals) can't see it. They are so blinded by their hatred and so self-involved in their rhetoric, that they could not see reality if it hit them square in the face.

Will the result of the Murphy Brown reboot be the wake up call for the left that they need to severely tone it down? Will it be any affirmation for the left that their message is not resonating?

I suppose the answer to that question is anyone's guess. My guess? It will be business as usual. In an odd way I tend to think it might not matter to them if their wallets grow thinner in the process of making complete fools out of themselves.
