Bringing back American manufacturing is critical to American society in more ways than just economic ones. In order for America to succeed it needs the ability to make things, not only for the stability and good jobs it provides, but for national security as well.

It's Like it Never Really Happened
I am so glad, Mrs. Harris, that you have finally awakened to the reality that we've got some serious problems here. Where have you been all these past four years?
Oh, wait. Weren't you in the White House?
Wherein, not only was she party to all of the no-good policies and bad decisions that got us here, but she also defended them all along, right out there standing alongside Joe Biden telling us what our eyes and wallets knew damn well was a lie was wrong.
"Everything's running superbly. This is Bidenomics, folks. Isn't it wonderful?"
She's saying the right words. What she is saying is true. Things are bad and we need to take a different course. But the amazing thing to me is that, at the core of her campaign, it's as though Biden never happened. He's been wiped out of memory completely. Joe Biden, who? The way you hear Kamala Harris talk about it, Trump was the guy in the White House all along, these past four years, Harris is the newcomer on the block, and it's Trump's fault that all of what went wrong in America happened.
The remarkable thing is that I think the Democrats believe it, and so does the media. It's remarkable to me how quickly Joe Biden has been erased from the political landscape. Do we even feel like he's president anymore? Has anyone in the media even mentioned his name?
If they have, it's been in passing. "Oh yeah, he's still president."
The thing that scares me is that, even if in my heart I don't want to believe it's as tight at race as the media portrays it, maybe it is. Trump suffers from a lot of hate out there, and when all that hate is clouding judgements about what Biden did and what Trump will fix doesn't matter.
Even if, in their hearts, anyone who wants to cast a vote for Harris, they know it's all a lie. That it's all a big game of smoke and mirrors. The magician has pulled the rabbit out of the hat, and everyone is convinced that the rabbit wasn't there all along.
They'll still vote for her and hand over the keys to the Oval Office.
The second part of the problem is that while Trump has the right ideas and even the proven track record, the reality is that he's not a great orator, and so his message gets trapped in the mud. In a moment in time such as this, what we need is a Reagan-like delivery.
On spot. Front and center. Straightforward. Here's the problem, here's who caused it, and here's why these are the people responsible for it.
The hope is that the American voter has become accustomed to Trump's style enough that they understand that he means more than what he says and will do more than what he doesn't say. The hope is that memories have not failed, and that voter's don't fall for the rouse.
Harris isn't the solution. She's the problem.
With all that's happened in the past four years, this should be the markings of a landslide victory for Trump, but here we are looking at polls suggesting Trump may actually lose the election. I do think the voters are smarter than all of this, and I have trust in my cynicism of what the media is trying to sell us.
Can you really erase Biden's four years and pass the blame onto the guy that wasn't there through it all? I guess we will find out in November.

Trump This, Trump That; Biden Just Can't Stop
Isn't the latest attempt by the Democrats, to say that Trump will refuse to accept the election results in November if he loses, sort of along the same lines?
I swear, it's one thing after another with these guys.
He was a racist. Then he was a homophobe. He was a misogynist. He was an election denier. He was an insurrectionist. He incites violence. He seeks revenge. He wants to be a dictator. He's a criminal. He's a rapist.
You name it, he's all of these things according to the left.
Does no one notice one glaring thing? The Biden administration and the media aren't talking about what Biden's done to earn reelection. They aren't talking about the real problems everyday Americans are up against and what he will do to resolve them.
It's all about Trump. It's all about the threat Trump poses. It's all about the danger to democracy if Trump is allowed back into the White House. It's all about the end of the country.
So, what is the threat? Simply that he can win in November and Biden cannot. It's really that simple, folks. People may have short term memories; I will grant you that. But people are living now, this very moment in Biden's America, and it's awakening the reality that things actually were better when Trump was president. And by leaps and bounds.
That can't be hidden. It can only be distracted from. Or at least they can try. And try, they are.
Even stalwart Democrat voices like Bill Maher and Jon Stewart aren't convinced Biden's up to speed enough to be president. And it's not like their comments are an endorsement for Trump. They're just not an endorsement for Biden.
Even Jon Stewart joked recently, "If you're telling us behind the scenes, he's sharp and full of energy and on top of it...you should film that."
As is more often than not, the case, Trump did not actually say he won't accept the results. He simply said he won't accept them unless the election is fair and square. "If everything's honest, I'll gladly accept the results," Trump said.
How is that scary? How is that a threat to democracy? And by the way, does anyone other than me get tired of that word being tossed around? We're not a democracy and never have been. The United States of America is a Republic.
The fact is, Trump is a threat to Biden's reelection. But that's because the American people are smarter than the Biden administration and the news media will ever give them credit for.
When the entire focus of your campaign is on the "other guy," it just leaves everyone wondering what the hell you really have to offer for anyone to support your campaign. Aren't you supposed to have three years of vast accomplishments you can brag about, and that Americans can believe happened?
When I worked in sales, I didn't sell my product by talking bad about my competitors. I sold mine by talking about why my product was the best choice.
So, "He won't accept the election," is just another straw in their clutches that they hope will turn people over to their side. "Bad, scary Trump is a mean guy," they want to say. They really are clutching at straws. But rest assured, it's not the final one. Because this one won't work any better than any of the other names he has been called, or any of the other accusations they have made.

Just STOP With the Impeachment Talk
Or even over decades.
That being said, with Speaker McCarthy tossing out that word, "impeachment," it grates on me a bit. Has Biden done anything impeachable? Perhaps the real answer so far is that we simply don't know yet. Are there things that should be seriously looked into regarding Biden, especially his dealings with his son and the many allegations that have surfaced long before he "won" the 2020 election and became president.
Okay, there is also, for me, the lingering question about what really happened with that 2020 election—I am not one to outright say he stole it by the way. I simply think there are too many unanswered questions and it troubles me more Americans aren't at least interested in the possible answers.
That would be an impeachable offense for sure.
Beyond that I think, and this became very apparent with Trump's presidency, that impeachment may be becoming just a political thing more than a tool to potentially remove a really bad guy from office. It's simply losing its strength as something to be taken seriously. And I think impeachment should be an absolute last resort and very serious thing for very serious infractions having been committed by our top elected official.
Nixon, had he been impeached rather than resign, I think would have been warranted.
None of Trump's impeachments were serious, especially considering the allegations were all false, and anyone really paying attention would have immediately known it was all about a democrat party simply not liking who was in the White House and trying to find any way they could to remove him, regardless of whether there was cause or not.
It's not the same thing but it's at least relatable, but the word "racism" has suffered similar softening. It was overused and accusations of racism were assigned to things that had nothing to do with race at all. The word no longer has the stigma it once did. Racism uttered now is more likely to conjure rolled eyes than serious horror.
Is Joe Biden fit to be president? No. Is Joe Biden doing a good job and advancing causes for the American people? No. Is his presidency benefiting the country or Americans? No. But are any of the things he's doing (or not doing) impeachable? No.
He's just a terrible president and that's all.
I think the best course for the republican party is to simply focus on 2024 and how we convince the American people to make the best choice for America. Which granted will be a tough sell considering Trump is the foreseeable front runner and regardless whether or not I have no problem with him returning to the White House, many Americans are apprehensive—despite my belief that many of those apprehensions are based on lies and innuendo and false pretenses.
In other words, people have formed their opinion of Trump largely on what the media has led them to believe, not necessarily based on what the truth is. Even with all of the supposed charges and indictments against him, it is being used as a "thing to consider." But of course, people paying attention know it's all just politics and based on nothing but that.
I simply think we're too quick lately to throw out impeachment and it is doing more damage to the tool of impeachment than anything. If we reach a point where a real impeachment is absolutely necessary, no one will take it seriously because we've removed seriousness from the option to use it for real reasons.
Drop the impeachment thing, McCarthy and let's just get our attention on the upcoming presidential election and use our time to form strategies to bring our message to the American people why the ONLY choice in 2024 should be the GOP.

Stupid Talk Needs to be Called Out as Stupid Talk
Not that I always agree that what I said was dumb, mind you. Nonetheless, we call things for what they are.
Take this statement made on Twitter, now X, by Barb McQuade wherein she said, "I think a strong case can be made that Trump committed 5 counts of manslaughter on Jan 6 by recklessly causing the unintended deaths of others."
That's dumb.
Granted, I may be a little bit biased on my opinion of the whole January 6th, so-called "insurrection," in that I don't agree that the events occurred as so many believe they did.
Do I think it was an orchestrated and planned event to serve as a distraction from a possible real examination of what happened with the election in 2020? Yes. As a matter of fact, I do. But I don't want to digress. I simply want to point out my bias.
Including my bias as a Trump supporter then and now.
If there is one thing that we can all agree upon, for whatever it is worth, it is that January 6th was an unpleasant event in our history. For a lot of reasons. Still, to suggest that Trump caused it, I believe, is a real stretch of the imagination.
People, with individual intent decided on that day, provided it was not a planned and orchestrated event, to act in a manner that could at best be labeled as inappropriate, and perhaps even unfortunate. Smooth transition of power has always been a tenet of our system and on that day that tenet was challenged.
The deaths that occurred on that day were also tragic and unfortunate. But to suggest that Trump should be held liable in any way for them is ludicrous beyond imagination. Were the people who stormed the Capitol Trump supporters? Who knows? But again, does it matter if they were?
If we were to take Barb McQuade's comment seriously, we'd have to consider other events in our history and assign similar culpability. In all fairness, right?
Do we go back and hold Barack Obama to account for his decision to initiate Fast and Furious that resulted in the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent? Do we take a look at what happened in Benghazi when Hillary Clinton was serving as Secretary of State, an event that killed four Americans, and hold her accountable for those deaths?
And by the way, there is some reason to suggest maybe she should have been accountable. But even I will admit it is a bit ridiculous to suggest it. Same goes for Barack Obama and Fast and Furious.
Or what about Joe Biden? Should we, according to Barb McQuade, hold him criminally liable for the actions, or lack of actions he took which led to the death of multiple Americans on the tarmac in the withdrawal of Afghanistan?
All of these ideas are, to my mind, clutching at straws.
The bottom line is that when things like this are said, they are said out of pure hatred for the person those things are said about. There is no real basis for the comments. And frankly, there's no thought behind them either.
It's the old forest for the trees argument. You either see the one tree you want to focus on and dismiss the entire forest for potentially having similar trees, or you have no interest in the rest of the forest. Only the one tree matters.
Clearly Barb McQuade does not like Trump, so of course she's going to make a comment like that. But she has to understand what she's really saying. She can't simply dismiss all the other bad things that have happened and target the one she perceives as having been perpetrated by one man she dislikes or disagrees with.
And people should call her out for it. As I did, commenting back on her post. And as I have done here.

I Think I Could Do A Good Job, Biden Says
I think I could do a good job.
To be fair, I don't think that, even if Joe Biden decided to run for President of the United States, that Joe Biden would have a chance in hell of ever even getting close to becoming the Democratic nominee. In fact, I think he would most likely fall very low on the totem pole in such a scenario.
The truth is that we have been suffering from a severe lack of leadership by our current president, Barack Obama, and horribly failed policies that his administration just sticks to without hesitation, and without consideration as to the impact those policies have had, and will continue to have on the American people.
Joe Biden, I fear, would be worse than even Barack Obama, if that's even possible.
At the end of the day while I think it's too early to tell who will become the Republican nominee, I think so long as Hilary Clinton decides to make a run at the White House, she will be the one to beat. But Joe Biden is not, and will not ever be in the picture. If he is, it would sort of be like the guy standing behind the people who are actually supposed to be in the picture, holding up two fingers over their heads.
